Service companies are big employers in the domestic economy - from the professions, like accountants and lawyers, to the banks, insurers and other financial services businesses.

These and other service businesses which operate in Ireland rely on the buoyancy of the Irish economy, and ultimately the country’s ability to be competitive and earn overseas revenues, to sustain their businesses and jobs.
