  • In March, people from 116 countries visited the website, and social media - our presence on sites like Facebook and Twitter - also helped to build awareness internationally
  • International traffic represented almost 17% of the total
  • Two-thirds of the ideas logged on the site from abroad came from Irish-born people
  • The UK was the largest source of international traffic, representing almost 6% of the total, followed by the US at 3%
  • Chinese visitors, particularly its bloggers, showed a lot of interest in the campaign and were ranked as the 15th largest source of international traffic
  • The campaign has also had media interest from the US, the UK and mainland Europe. One example of this coverage was a prominent news story from Euractiv.com, the independent media portal fully dedicated to EU affairs. Read the story now
